So, like true Sybarites we went for holidays by car. No true holidays, however, but the "May Days Off". Still  everyone have their own Everest. The squad proved excellent, meaning climbing but not only. To cut a long story short: did some partying as well. Especially that there were four of us to play bridge... 

Starigrad-Paklenica is a town in Croatia immediately at the Adriatic sea, so there would be close to non-climbing activities if only... hadn't we gone off-season! There were two pubs open but almost deserted. And how can one party in an empty pub?! So we employed the old method of "home partying" and since we stayed at a private house with rooms to let (EUR 8,50 per night - good price, as the tent was for EUR 5,50!), where we had at our disposal two bedrooms with a small kitchen and bathroom (and with two double-beds! :p), so there was room to party especially that round the corner there was rakija being sold in wide choice. 

Our days looked basically alike: get up in the morning, light breakfast, into the car and go climbing (from our place to the Paklenica Gorge there were ca. 3 kms). We would come back at various times but generally about 7 p.m., we would have a shower, the main dish, and about 9 p.m. we would sit comfortably at the bridge-table with some rakija nearby. We had a TV-set with MTV or the like on and so it happened... we heard the Crazy Frog! Thereafter it was only worse ;)

There was noone to write an ordinary "chronicle" and still there was no point in doing so, as each day looked alike, so here I put only the gallery with some comments.

Miki climbed even quite a lot :p
...and the others were not too lazy either :)
... not only did we do base-climbing but also climbed the highest peak in the Gorge - Anica Kuk - the headwall was 320 metrers high and took 12 rope-lenghts to climb  :)
Of course sometimes you also have to protect you partner...	or do some boring stuff-tidying...	... but even this was okay :)
...especially that one could admire the views...
... and after a good climb one could take a fine rest.
Some have a bit overdosed this rest...	... but on the other hand...
...you should not overdose climbing either and sometimes relax deeply in a beautiful spot to be able to wait impatiently for the next trip...
